These armoured cars were based on a shortened and strengthened 3-ton Ford chassis.   Armament for the basic car was one 0.55 inch Boys anti-tank rifle, with a co-axial 0.303 Bren gun.   The British fitted captured examples of the German 3.7cm Pak 35/36 to Marmon Herrington armoured cars in an attemt to improve their hitting power.  The kit contains alternative parts to model the standard armoured car.
